Commenting on the list of players invited to the national team, Alexander Petrakov noted:

"The upcoming friendlies are a good opportunity to test young talents against strong teams. For this purpose, Gevorg Tarakhchyan, Erik Simonyan, Andranik Hakobyan and Gor Manvelyan have been invited to join the national team. 2 other young players - Tigran Avanesyan and Sergey Muradyan have also been called up.

Unfortunately, Hrant-Leon Ranos, Andre Calisir, Narek Grigoryan and Ugochukwu Iwu won't be able to join the team due to injuries.

Lukas Zelarayan will also not be available this time. He has passport issues and will have to travel to Argentina during the period of team's matches to resolve them. I also invited Sargis Adamyan, but he informed me that he couldn't join the team, mentioning the early start of the preparation for the second Bundesliga and his need for the rest.

Regarding Norberto Briasco-Balekian, since FIFA's window for friendlies opens on June 3 and Norberto's team has a match on June 2, he would only be able to join the squad on June 4 in Slovenia. Therefore, Norberto will miss the team's upcoming matches."

Armenian national teamwill start preparing for friendly matches on May 27 at the FFA Technical Centre/Football Academy.
